As a fee for services provider, Cache Pension Services, Inc. assists employers in the design, implementation, administration and communication of a wide range of retirement plans. We are committed to providing these services to our clients in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner.

Our benefit professionals are dedicated to helping employers implement retirement plans that promote corporate goals and objectives, control costs and give employees a sense of security.

Plans currently under administration include 401(k) and profit sharing plans, including plans with age-based and new comparability allocation schedules, money purchase, ESOPs, target benefit and defined benefit pension plans, SEPs and SARSEPs and 403(b)/tax-sheltered annuity arrangements. Plans under administration have from one (1) to five thousand (5,000) participants. The total assets of plans using Cache’s services exceed $200,000,000 and total participant count exceeds 20,000.

Our Staff and Resources

Cache Pension Services, Inc. employs 19 experienced employees in four locations of which 5 constitute the management staff. The impressive credentials of our staff include 4 Certified Pension Consultants (CPC), 5 Qualified Pension Administrators (QPA), 3 Qualified 401(k) Administrators (QKA), 2 Accredited Pension Administrators (APA), and an Attorney. Additionally, 11 of Cache's employees are currently pursuing professional designations or additional designations. The above-mentioned designations and the memberships in pension organizations, as well as affiliations within the retirement industry, create a very notable staff.

A combined office space of approximately 5,500 square feet, coupled with state-of-the-art computer systems and the very latest technology, offers unmatched resources in the field.


	J. Michael Pruett, CPC, QPA, APA President/Founder/Owner
He is a member of the Texas and Nebraska bars, the Federal District Court of Nebraska and the United States Tax Court. He has served as the Examination Chair of the Education and Examination Committee of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). He was the President of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) for the 2000/2001 term and has served as Senior Editor of and a regular columnist to the Journal of Pension Benefits. Aside from his accomplishments outside of Cache, Mike’s responsibilities include marketing, consulting, and pension administration. He also serves as a mentor to his co-workers. Mike is an attorney, a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), an Accredited Pension Administrator (APA). He is also a member of both the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) as well as the Pacific Coast Tax Exempt/Government Entities (IRS) Council.
	Jean Stuart, CPC, QPA, APA Vice-President/Owner Joined Cache in 1988
She is responsible for plan administration services and the firm’s financial reporting. She has over 20 years of other management experience and over fifteen years in the pension industry. Jean is a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and an Accredited Pension Administrator (APA). She is also a member of both the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA).

Cathy is responsible for plan administration, consulting and document preparation. Cathy joined Cache following sixteen years of pension administration and pension related consulting experience. Cathy is a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) and a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA). She is also a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

With twenty-five years of experience in field auditing, operations and management, Kelly brings significant business expertise to the trust accounting, plan administration and employee benefits for which he is accountable. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and is actively pursuing his ASPPA designations.
	Amy Shannon, QKA Pension Manager Joined Cache in 2004 Located in our Reno, NV Office
She is responsible for managing the pension workflow as well as administering retirement plans. Amy brings six years of management and pension experience to the team. Amy has a degree in Accounting with a concentration in Tax Accounting. She is a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
	Patricia Lysak, CPC, QPA Pension Administrator Joined Cache in 2006 Located in our State College, PA Office
Pat brings over 22 year of experience in administration and the compliance of qualified plans to Cache. She has served as a Member of Education and Examination Committee of ASPPA, writing and reviewing national exams for candidates to earn designation and is currently a member of the committee launching the new QPFC designation (Qualified Pension Financial Consultant). Along with other committee members, she has assisted in writing the national exams for that course. She has presented web-based training courses for ASPPA designations exams and taught a senior level course on qualified plan fundamentals at the Pennsylvania State University. A graduate of Ithaca College, she is a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) and a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA). She is also a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Angela utilizes her ten years of experience in the pension industry to administer multifaceted retirement plans. Angela has an Associates degree in Business Administration. She is a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). She is also a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Nina has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Studies and Accounting. She is a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Prior to joining Cache, Tahnee worked as a Pension Administrator for four years and in the banking industry for more than five years.

Lisa has 6 years of experience with a pension firm in a variety of positions including pension administrator. She has already passed several exams towards her National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) designations.
